In fact, our peptides typically exceed 99% purity, ensuring you get a product that meets high research standards. We also have all batches independently third-party lab tested for verification of purity and potency, and we can provide Certificates of Analysis for transparency.

We aim to ship all orders within 1-2 business days with a next day service on all orders placed before 2pm. This means you get your research materials promptly and, should you have them, any issues will be responded to within 24-48 hours via our contact email address.

Where are your products manufactured?

Our peptides are manufactured in state-of-the-art facilities both in the UK and internationally, all of which operate under strict Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) guidelines. We partner with reputable labs that specialise in peptide synthesis to ensure the highest quality and safety standards. Each facility is GMP-compliant and uses advanced equipment and processes, so regardless of whether a peptide was made locally or overseas, it meets the same rigorous quality criteria.

By sourcing from both local and international GMP labs, we can maintain a robust supply chain while guaranteeing consistency and purity across all our products.

How are peptides created?

Peptides are created through chemical synthesis in a laboratory. In a process called solid-phase peptide synthesis, amino acids are sequentially linked together in the exact order of the desired peptide’s sequence. This method allows for precise control over the peptide’s composition and purity.

All Stratford Peptides products are synthetic (lab-made, not extracted from natural sources), which means we can achieve extremely high purity levels and tailor the peptides to specific research needs.

After synthesis, the peptides are carefully purified (often by HPLC) and lyophilized (freeze-dried) to ensure a stable, pure product. The result is a research-grade peptide with verified identity and purity, suitable for scientific applications.

How do I use your products?

Our products are for research use only. This means they are intended to be used in laboratory settings in vitro (e.g., cell culture experiments, assay development, etc.) or in other controlled research environments. They are not for human or veterinary use, and not intended for any form of consumption, injection, or therapeutic use in humans. We sell these peptides on the condition that they will be used by qualified researchers following appropriate safety and handling protocols. Always handle peptides with care – use gloves, lab coats, and eye protection as needed, and follow any guidelines provided in our product documentation.

Remember, the purpose of these products is to further scientific knowledge under controlled conditions, so they should be used responsibly and legally.

How should peptides be stored?

Peptides should be stored properly to maintain their stability and potency.

For long-term storage, keep lyophilized (freeze-dried) peptides in a freezer at –20°C or below (many researchers use –80°C for very long-term storage). Vials should be tightly sealed, kept dry, and protected from light – moisture and UV light can degrade peptide molecules.

After reconstitution (when you mix the peptide with sterile water or another solvent), the peptide solution should be stored in a refrigerator at about 2–4°C. Under these cold conditions, most reconstituted peptides remain stable for roughly 2–4 weeks (around 20–30 days, depending on the peptide). Do not refreeze peptides once they are in solution, as the freeze-thaw cycle can damage the peptide’s structure.

For any peptide-specific storage instructions (some complex peptides might have unique requirements), please refer to the product’s Certificate of Analysis or our blog, where we provide detailed guides on peptide reconstitution and storage. By following proper storage practices, you’ll ensure your peptides remain at optimal quality for your research.

Tell me more about third-party testing and store credit?

Quality and transparency are core principles at Stratford Peptides. All our peptide batches undergo third-party testing – we send samples of each batch to independent certified laboratories to verify their purity, identity, and concentration. This extra step ensures that the product you receive matches our specifications and is of the highest purity.

We maintain Certificates of Analysis for each batch, which are available to customers upon request, documenting the test results (such as HPLC and Mass Spec analyses showing purity levels, peptide identity, etc.).

We’re so confident in our quality that we encourage customers to independently test our products if they wish. If you decide to have a peptide tested by a reputable third-party lab, let us know, in many cases, we will offer you store credit equivalent to the cost of the test as a thank-you for verifying our product (please contact us first).

This policy of providing store credit for third-party test results is our way of standing behind our peptides. It gives you complete peace of mind: you either confirm the peptide’s quality for yourself, or you uncover an issue and we make it right (though to date our products consistently meet or exceed stated purity).

For details on how to take advantage of this store credit offer, you can contact our customer support and we’ll guide you through the simple process (typically, we’d ask for a copy of the lab report and the invoice from the testing service). In summary, third-party testing ensures you can trust our peptides, and our store credit incentive reflects our commitment to transparency and customer trust.

What payment methods are accepted?

We accept a variety of convenient payment methods to make your purchase as easy as possible.

You can pay using major debit or credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, etc.), PayPal, and even cryptocurrency. For customers who prefer crypto, we currently support Bitcoin payments as well. We also accept standard bank transfers in some cases. In short, whether you’d like to use a card, an online payment service, or BTC, we have you covered.

Products and Handling

What is the purity of your peptides?

Our peptides are high-purity, research-grade products. In fact, the vast majority of our peptides have a purity level of 99% or higher (as determined by analytical testing). We ensure this by putting each batch through rigorous purification processes and quality tests. Every batch is analyzed using advanced techniques like HPLC (to measure purity) and Mass Spectrometry (to confirm molecular weight and identity).

We also have independent third-party labs verify the purity to provide an extra layer of confidence. A detailed Certificate of Analysis is maintained for each batch, so you can review the exact purity percentage and test results for your specific vial if needed.

With Stratford Peptides, you can trust that you’re getting some of the purest peptides available on the market, which is crucial for reliable research outcomes.

How are your peptides stored and shipped?

All our peptides are supplied as lyophilized (freeze-dried) powders, which are very stable for shipping.

We store them in optimal conditions (frozen storage) at our facility, and when we ship them to you, they are sealed in airtight vials.

Shipping: We pack orders carefully to ensure the peptides remain stable during transit. Lyophilized peptides can handle normal shipping times without issue – short exposures to ambient temperatures (a few days in shipping) do not significantly affect product integrity. For most orders, we use padded mailers or insulated packaging to protect the vials. If you order a product that is particularly temperature-sensitive, we will include appropriate cooling packs or dry ice in the package as needed. Our goal is to make sure the peptides arrive in perfect condition. Once delivered, you should place the peptides in a freezer for long-term storage (Refrigerate if you plan to use them immediately).

For more guidance on how to handle and store your peptides upon arrival, please refer to our blog or the instructions included with your order.

Do you provide Certificates of Analysis (COA)?

Yes, we provide Certificates of Analysis for our peptide products. A Certificate of Analysis is a document from our quality control lab (or an independent lab) that verifies the identity, purity, and quality of the peptide batch. It includes the results of analytical tests – for example, the HPLC purity percentage, mass spectrometry verification of the molecular weight, and other relevant data.

We maintain a COA for every batch we produce, to ensure transparency and quality assurance. If you would like the COA for a product you purchased, simply contact us or check the product page (in some cases we make them downloadable). The COA lets you see that, say, your peptide is >99% pure and matches the expected formula. This is part of our commitment to providing research, trusted peptides, you don’t have to just take our word for it; the lab results speak for themselves.

Are your peptides synthetic or naturally derived?

All of our peptides are synthetic, meaning they are created by chemical synthesis in a lab. We do not use peptides extracted from animal or human tissues. The synthetic route allows us to produce peptides with precise control over their sequence and purity. In modern peptide science, chemical synthesis is the preferred method for research peptides because it’s efficient and yields highly pure products. By synthesising peptides, we can also incorporate special modifications or create analogues that might not be readily found in nature, which is valuable for research.

In summary, when you purchase from Stratford Peptides, you are getting lab-synthesised peptides that are tailor-made for consistency and quality. This ensures that each batch is reproducible and free from contaminants that could be present in peptides derived from natural sources.
